Now that our BridgeHands interactive blog (weblog) is online, our legacy "What's New" page here begins to look and feel a bit dated, doesn't it?  So rather than continuing to post the latest of what's going here on this page, please refer to our blog for the latest and greatest.   All of our web pages have a Blog link at the top (and bottom) of the page; once inside our blog, you'll find category links on the right side of the blog pages.  And the best part is that now you can directly submit your comments to the blog pages.  To return to the main BridgeHands website from the blog pages, simply click on our logo at the top of any blog page.

We are excited to announce BridgeHands has activated a "blog" - that's a shorthand way of saying a weblog.   Originally, blogs were used by webmasters as an electronic journal to share information with others.  The idea quickly caught on and as blogging software became easy to manage, soon millions of mere mortals were hosting their own blogs to share information about their personal lives with others.   Our BridgeHands blog is designed to enhance your interactive experience with us - while our website will continue to offer thousands of pages on Bridge, our blog provides an easy way to communicate with you.  That's right, you can post your constructive comments right here on our blog and we will be happy to post them!  As you know, BridgeHands works hard to keep things organized so it's easy for you to locate important information.   Accordingly, our blog is organized by the following categories:

Bridge

Bridge Books
Bridge Cruises
Bridge Software
Bridge Websites

BridgeHands

Interviews
Newsletter eMag
Online Bridge Play

As promised, BridgeHands is entering the world of audio.  For our first installment, you'll notice we've added web-based voice mail to our home page that look like this:

Here's the scoop - you can use the MyChingo service to:

    1. Listen to recorded messages from BridgeHands.  Simply double-click on the message to play (you can also use the "Play-Pause" buttons).

    2. Record your own message via your computer microphone.  The message will be forwarded to BridgeHands.  Click on "Leave a Message".  The first time you do this, you'll see a popup message from security certificate warning message from VIMAS Techology.  Once you accept the valid certificate (allowing MyChingo's Java code on your computer), you can record your message.

    3. Advise us to share constructive feedback with the BridgeHands community.  If you wish to make your voicemail public, let us know in either the voicemail or the attached message.

We hope you enjoy this exciting new service!

Are you familiar with the Frappr map program?  This website allows viewers to checkout and add a "stick pin" on the BridgeHands map with their own location.  For instance, BridgeHands is located north of San Francisco, California. We invite you to share your location with our Bridge community - please click on the Frappr map to add your location and check out where other Bridge players are located.
